In the Works... Spill The Honey Podcast

This Fall, we are incredibly excited to introduce the Spill The Honey Podcast, a groundbreaking extension of our mission to build vital intergenerational Black-Jewish alliances through our unique "culture-as-curriculum" model. This podcast isn't just about conversation; it's a dynamic platform designed to heal historical divides and actively foster a more unified and equitable future.

Our pilot episode, "From Belly To Bridges: A Slingshot for Unity," is a powerful example of what makes Spill The Honey so impactful. You'll hear from Dr. Benjamin F. Chavis, Jr., our esteemed new Chairman, alongside our innovative team members, including Antar Davidson and Brian Knowles. Together, they will explore how we use shared cultural touchstones—from the iconic film Belly (where Dr. Chavis played a pivotal role) to "Slingshot," an impactful song created and performed by Antar Davidson in a real classroom setting at Lamad Academy.

This episode vividly demonstrates our unique educational approach, showing how creative expression becomes a powerful tool for learning and community building. As Antar eloquently puts it in the song, "I speak in bars/ and turn bars to speeches/ which turn to projects that take me to the stars I’m reaching/ I’m Antar I’m teaching." This is the heart of Spill The Honey: empowering individuals and strengthening communities through understanding and collaboration.

We invite you to join us in this vital work. By engaging with the Spill The Honey Podcast and our broader initiatives, you help us to:

  • Reach new audiences with messages of collaboration and understanding.

  • Develop innovative educational resources for diverse communities.

  • Cultivate intergenerational leadership in the pursuit of social justice.

Be part of this movement to build bridges, not walls. Stay tuned for the official launch in mid-August 2025. To learn more about our mission and how you can support our work, please visit SpillTheHoney.com.
