January 2026 Newsletter

January - A New Year of Action and Impact

For many, the New Year is a time for resolutions—intentions for how we hope to change or grow. At Spill the Honey, we are beginning the year not with words, but with action. Our planning for 2026 is already well underway.

We are off to a strong start in expanding our work on the

national stage, with nearly 20 Shared Legacies programs scheduled across the country in the first quarter of 2026 alone. From Los Angeles to Boston, Washington, DC, and Charlotte, our educational and community programs are in high demand. To find a program near you, visit the new events page on our website.

This January, we are also marking MLK Day with a special Spill the Honey archival release featuring Rabbi Richard (Dick) Hirsch, founding Director of the Reform Movement’s Religious Action Center in Washington, DC. The release includes Rabbi Hirsch reading the powerful eulogy he delivered for his close friend and colleague Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. To deepen engagement with this historic moment, we have developed toolkits for clergy, organizations, and youth and teen leaders.

Looking ahead, we are preparing to engage schools, families, and communities through our Shared Legacies educational programs, bringing the history—and enduring relevance—of Black-Jewish partnership to new audiences.

If your New Year’s resolution is to build bridges in your community, our programs offer a meaningful path forward. Let us help.
